About Dyson

Dyson vacuums were designed by James Dyson after he realised the inherent flaws in the current cleaners at that time. James spent over 5 years to produce a vacuum to the standard that was needed to bring vacuum technology that households had never seen that would out perform the rest.

The bagless was born when James Dyson produced the dual cyclone bagless vacuum cleaners. Technology just got better with the dyson vacuum cleaner also being the first vacuums that had the ball design that made vacuum cleaning around corners within the home, so much easier.

Top Dyson Vacuum Cleaners
There is a wide range of dysons worth mentioning that are high performance lean mean vacuum cleaning machines, and here are some examples that we found out perform many brands, although pricey.

Dyson Upright Vacuum
There are a few dyson vacuum cleaners that use the ball design which includes the DC25 all floors cleaner. This unit has the ball design to make reaching those awkward spots and corners much easier than basic cleaners that are unable to move at different angles, like this machine does. This model is an upright design form a wide range of uprights.

Dyson Cannister
Whilst uprights are high performing cleaners, they will suit one households needs but not another. The Dyson DC23 Turbine Canister Vacuum is a model I really like for its design that includes the HEPA lifetime filter with the bactisafe screen that will trap and kill off bacteria, allergens and nasty unwanted mold. There are many features that make the DC23 dyson a popular choice among consumers including the air driven brush bar that works well on short pile carpet that switches off for hard floor cleaning.

Handheld Dyson Vacuum Cleaner
The Dyson DC31 Animal is a handheld compact vacuum that's lightweight suiting households that own pets, hence the animal. This small unit has a measurement of 4.5 inches deep by 8 inches wide and 12.7 inches in height, weighing a mere 3.4 pounds makes it a vacuum that's quick and easy to remove pet hair. Its another vacuum by dyson that is bagless, that saves money on vacuum bags long term.

Conclusion
Dyson vacuum cleaners gave the market new innovative designs that were unheard of at the time. The 3 Dyson vacuums above cover just three types which are upright, cannister and of course the handheld vacuum from a massive range of dysons. The above types all rate well within consumer reports and pack a punch when it comes to choosing a vacuum that can perform well. These models above are worth comparing to other dyson models or even other vacuum brands.

The Dyson Ball Vacuum - My Favorite Home Appliance

!±8± The Dyson Ball Vacuum - My Favorite Home Appliance

For allergy sufferers it is important to control allergens in the home. This often means cleaning, dusting, and vacuuming regularly. The Dyson Ball Vacuum is great not only for vacuuming carpets and hard floors, but for getting harder to reach places in the home as well. With handy tools you can easily vacuum stairs and remove dust from curtains, upholstry, ceiling fans, vent covers, and more.

Vacuum cleaners are an absolute necessity in home appliances. We rely on them almost daily. Dyson has really taken great consideration into making this chore less of a hassle. Below are my 4 favorite features of the Dyson Ball Vacuum.

Dyson Ball Vacuum Features

The Ball - Unlike the wheels that most vacuums have, this vacuum sits on a ball. This makes the vacuum roll and glide on the floors with great ease. Instead of having to vacuum in a back and forth motion, the ball feature allows you to turn the vacuum at angles and around furniture, all with the turn of your wrist.

HEPA Filtration - This vacuum uses a HEPA filter that traps 99.97% of allergens in the air. So while it is sucking up all the dirt, crumbs, and hair on the floors, the air that is being passed through the vacuum is also getting cleaner. It traps bacteria, mold, pollen, dust, and other allergens and keeps it inside the vacuum where it belongs. It leaves your house smelling as good as it looks.

Attachment Wand - There is an attachment wand that is stored inside of the handle of the vacuum. It is always attached so you don't have to worry about any extra assembly. To use it, the vacuum handle just has to be locked in the upright position, and with the push of a button on the handle you can telescope the wand for dusting other parts of the home.

Bag Less Vacuum - This vacuum features a clear bin that catches dust and debris. It is easy to see when it is full, and easy to empty. Pull out the canister and push a button to release the contents out the bottom. You'll never come in contact with the dust and dirt. You won't have to spend your time or money to find and buy replacement bags either.

The Dyson Ball Vacuum is a good investment when you consider the ease of use and the amount of time it will save in house cleaning. These machines are really efficient.

Which Is Better? A Bagged Or A Bagless Vacuum Cleaner?

!±8± Which Is Better? A Bagged Or A Bagless Vacuum Cleaner?

Our parents were used to the traditional vacuum cleaner, the one that comes with a disposable dirt bag. Then again, over the past years, a more modern type of vacuum cleaner has emerged and became more popular than its traditional counterpart.

Now, people buying household appliances machine? Before you decide on which works better for you, let us consider the following C factors.

Convenience

Most households have converted to using the bagless vacuum machine from the conventional bagged vacuum cleaner because they find checking the dirt bag every now and then inconvenient. While it is not that difficult a task, some find it a hassle to begin cleaning only to find out that the dirt bag is already full and they do not have an extra bag to replace it with.

On the other hand, bagless vacuum cleaners do not have disposable bags. They instead have hard plastic containers that contain the dirt. If it is full, all you have to do is open the compartment and pour the dust out into the trash can.

However, the filters in the plastic compartments of these bagless vacuum need to be cleaned every now and then. It's not easy cleaning either. Most models have filters that need to be washed, brushed and dried before you can use it again. If you ask me, buying a disposable dirt bag for the bagged vacuum machine is much less of a hassle than cleaning those dust-filled compartments.

In addition, bagless vacuum machines are also noisier than the bagged ones because of the machinery it operates on.

Cleanliness

Many people claim that bagged cleaners are the cleaner option between the two. People need not be in contact with the dust itself because after vacuum cleaning, all you have to do is remove the bag and throw it away. Disposable dirt bags that were manufactured before were a lot thinner than the ones we have today. Before, smaller dust particles can easily escape from the dirt bags and back into your house. But nowadays, dirt bags are much thicker and firmer and can easily contain all dust particles.

On the other hand, when using a bagless vacuum, there is much contact between people and the dust. Once the compartment is full, the dust inside is directly thrown out. Do not attempt to open the compartment inside your house or else all of your efforts to clean up will be useless. Once the compartment is open, light dust particles can easily be carried by the wind and will be scattered around your house again.

However, if you accidentally vacuumed something important, say an earring or an important paper, it will be easier to retrieve from a plastic compartment than from a disposable dirt bag.

Cost

Most bagless vacuum machines are priced higher than bagged vacuum cleaners. This come with a promise that in the long run, you will save more money because you do not have to buy disposable dirt bags.

While it's true that you need not buy these dirt bags every now and then, it's also true that bagless cleaners come with more maintenance cost than you can imagine. In a bagless vacuum cleaner, dirt is stored inside a plastic compartment with a filter. As discussed in the convenience aspect, this filter has to be cleaned up every now and then.

Aside from that, maintenance of these filters is also notorious on being more expensive than maintaining dirt bags. Some customers report that their filters, after being washed and cleaned up, develop molds. These filters have to be replaced with a new one when they get problematic, which is often.

Filters are not the only component of bagless vacuum cleaners that deteriorate and need to be replaced. Rubber gaskets, seals and all the other motor parts of this vacuum cleaner will have to be replaced eventually.

Lastly, one of the maintenance costs of having a bagless cleaner comes from - guess what - its energy consumption! Because it runs on more sophisticated machinery than its bagged cousin, you also have to pay higher operating costs.

So the bagged one is better?

I have to say that the bagged vacuum cleaner is better than the bagless cleaner. It wins on all aspects: convenience, cleanliness and operating costs. While the latter gains more popularity, you can't ignore the fact that our parents got it right.
